This bread I've been making for about 25 years its a great easy way to have great bread with any thing


2 cups water

2 Tlbs yeast

2 Tlbs Oil

2 Tlbs sugar

1 Tlbs Salt

5 Cups of All-purpose flour

place all ingredients in a mixing bowl but the flour.  Mix on med 2 min. turn off and add the flour turn on low and mix until the dough forms.  it should clean the sides of the bowl and be mixing on the hook.  Knead for 4-6 min. add a little more flour if its to sticky or to dry add a little more water.

Place dough in a greased bowl and let rise for about 45 min

punch the dough down and cut into four long loafs and spray with pam and place plastic over the top of the loaves on a sheet pan

let them rise again 15 to 20 min

bake a 375* for 25 min

Options.  at the second rise you can brush with water and sprinkle Poppy seeds or sesame seeds on the top and let proof and place in the oven.

another option is add 1/2 cup of sugar and make the same roll out on the second proof cut into squares and make scones.
